About the Author
Dr. Layth Al-Jashamami received his medical degree from the University of Anbar in Iraq. After immigrating to the United States he completed and internal medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ in 2015. While at Maricopa he was awarded intern of the year in 2013 and resident of the year and teaching resident of the year in 2015. Currently he is a hospitalist at the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix and does research at the Phoenix VA Medical Center.
